  • Then under the Security Options section go to User Account Control named UAC Policies.
  • Go to “User Account Control: Run all administrators in administrator approval mode” option and set it to Disabled.
  • To update Group Policy settings, the computer must be restarted.
  • It is more convenient and easier to turn off UAC through the registry. To do this, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System in Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and change the EnableLUA value to 0.
  • And you have to restart the computer again.

Solution 2: Disable your antivirus program

  • Under Computer Configuration, expand Windows Settings, Security Settings, and Local Policies.
  • Click on Security option.
  • Navigate to the bottom and double-click “User Account Control: Run all administrators in administrator approval mode.”
  • Select Disable, click Apply, and then OK.
