How to Turn On Power Reserve on Apple Watch?

The battery life of an Apple Watch is around 18 hours a day, depending upon the usage.

To keep the watch working when the battery of the watch is on its last legs, Apple has a feature called power reserve mode, which disables all other features of the watch except displaying the time. This mode helps in preserving battery life. When this mode is on, the watch can work for a larger amount of time. You can turn the power reserve mode on or off as per convenience.

When the battery percentage of the watch drops below 10-percent, the watch displays a notification on the screen asking you if you want to enter turn on the power reserve mode. If you tap on ‘Proceed’, then the watch enters into the power reserve mode. If the battery percentage is very low, the watch automatically turns the power reserve mode on; this is indicated by a red lightning bolt shown next to the time.

You can also manually turn on power reserve mode by following below mentioned steps-

Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom

Step 2: Click on the remaining battery percentage

Step 3: Drag the power reserve slider to the right

Step 4: Click on ‘Proceed’ and it is done.

So, this is how you can activate the power reserve mode. Turning the power reserve mode is even easier than activating it. The only way to exit this mode is by restarting the device.
