Logitech G933 Wireless Gaming Headset – Design, build and features

Design:

The G933 is available in black and white and is an attractive piece of hardware. It is a great headset with several earbuds and thick support posts that increase confidence in its power.

The upper part of the headset contains a large plastic headband. It is neatly cut into a series of lines and can be extended to fit any large head. The lower part is covered with a layer of foam-covered fabric, where the unit creates a relatively tight fit on the head, but remains comfortable during long games. Opponents like Corsair’s Void Pro may be less tired after long use, but I prefer the greater grip you’ll find in Logitech cans.

The headphones on the left and right sides of the headset can be rotated ninety degrees and there are magnetic side panels that can be removed to reveal the USB key and replace the battery. The matte plastic finish is not the most luxurious, but it looks solid and well built.

Each earpiece has a removable earpiece that uses a mixture of dust and foam as a filling material. We personally prefer this method because the fabric is less sensitive to sweat and heat compared to artificial leather. Our main problem with Logitech is that they don’t contain another set of earbuds in the box – RGB is good and everything, but not at the expense of something that is really useful for everyone.

RGB lighting spreads across the sides of the headset with a number of custom buttons and dials on the left. RGB lighting spreads across the sides of the headset with a number of custom buttons and dials on the left. The volume wheel is very easy to operate, but it is also easily affected by unwanted knocking – especially if you are kneeling on a chair or bench.

Charging the headset is achieved via the Micro USB port, with wired operation enabled by connecting into the 3.5mm jack. This allows you to use any 3.5mm analog device on the Artemis Spectrum in wired mode, which is nice.

Insert the microphone on the left side of the G933 with the small arm folded before it expands into a pliable voice. It is small but pleasantly inconspicuous.

How to Connect USB Headset to Xbox One?

Music Performance

Gaming headphones must be very good to listen to all the sound, not just playing games. The G933 handles music in many genres very well. It features deep sub-basses with bass synthesizer tones and hits from The Knifes “Silent Shout” at the highest volume without signs of distortion.

The bass is loud, but not heavy even at very high levels; you can’t strain your ears, but you definitely feel the music.

Panther “Cowboys From Hell” is great listening to the G933. The lower bass line has a lot of representation, while the higher frequency of guitar shredding is at the forefront of the high volume mix.

The sound profiles of the headset are clearly engraved to emphasize bass and treble, even in the flat EQ setting, but it is a balanced and even sound.

Miles Davis’ “So What” also benefited from the G933s sound profile. The lower tones of the direct bass sound full and distinct, but the higher frequencies get enough cut, so better string textures come, giving the piano plenty of room to stand in the mix.

Wireless Performance & Customisation

Artemis Spectrum has a maximum distance of 20 m, and even if it does not get inside, the real world coverage is excellent, with a clear signal that provides -Navigation in neighboring rooms without many outages.

The battery lasts approximately 8-10 hours and is reduced when using RGB lighting. That may be enough for most, but rivals Corsair, Razer and Astro outperform the G933 in the battery compartment.

The G933 can be customized using Logitech gaming software, which is available for free download from the Logitech website.

Here you can play the ambient sound settings, adjust the equalizer and configure the RGB lighting. Since RGB lighting is not visible to the headset wearer, I would recommend disabling it for longer battery life.

Should I Buy Logitech G933 Wireless Gaming Headset?

The Logitech G933 takes an exceptional headset in the G633 and makes it wireless; it’s exactly the same in every other respect. An additional $50 is a reasonable amount to ask for flawless wireless capabilities on a headset that is already extremely comfortable and provides phenomenal sound. Overall, the G933 is one of the very best wireless models on the market today.
